We are currently casting for our latest feature film ‘The Reflected Self’ and are on the search for a male 50-60 to play the role of ‘Bruce’. Independent feature film being made and funded by husband and wife Director/Producer team, Kelvin and Holly who co-own Aether Film Productions Ltd.
The film will be showcased on the festival circuit and most likely be distributed on Amazon Prime due to the production company’s ties with the streaming service from their most recent film ‘Times & Measures’.
Film Synopsis:
Dion awakes to find he now lives in a different reality. His entire existence is thrown into uncertainty as he begins to transcend uncontrollably between a real and projected world within his own mind, a projection that was created to mask the events of his traumatic past. Distinguishing between the two realities soon becomes impossible and he now desperately searches for the truth to find his way home.

Character:
Bruce and wife Emily have searched for their missing son for almost a year. Having finally tracked him down and being reunited, they cannot believe their son’s shocked reaction when he informs them he truly believed they were dead. The mystery soon unfolds as Dion’s partner Aria reveals that after they initially broke up, she has been using her skills as a psychotherapist to implant false memories into Dion’s mind under deep hypnosis – making him believe in a world where they were still together. Soon after the dramatic revelation and upon Aria leaving him in peace, Dion is completely lost and has a tender moment shared with his father for reconciliation.
